CMS Training Portal

The CMS Training Portal is a web-based training solution. It can be a complement to an organization’s CMS eLearning System or work as a stand-alone solution. Multiple portal versions can be created for different audiences or in several languages. The CMS Training Portal is a custom-branded solution designed for organizations that want to provide specific customized content to inform key stakeholders of critical information when there is a need to track who views the information and verify comprehension. The CMS Training Portal can be an ideal solution when key training information needs to be delivered to individuals who may not be available during standard business hours.
Examples of potential uses of the CMS Training Portal include providing orientation information on critical aspects of working with special or exceptional needs children to new employees before they enter the classroom. For Alternative Payment Programs the CMS Training Portal can be used to conduct orientations for childcare providers new to childcare subsidy programs who need access to the information at times that an organization’s office is closed, or to provide program information in multiple languages to family members who can only review the information at night or on the weekends while maintaining record keeping standards. The CMS Training Portal can also be used internally to publish critical information or new regulatory changes to employees, confirming who completed the training while using an assessment test to verify their understanding.

Each CMS Training Portal supports:

  • Data entry of key identifying fields, such as name, email and organization, to track who is accessing the information
  • The ability to start the training content and return to finish it at a later time
  • Links to PDF documents or forms, with checkboxes confirming acknowledgement of key information
  • Embedded custom video content, such as orientation information for families or childcare providers, or program or regulatory change notices
  • A question bank containing a set of custom queries based on the video content to verify training material was watched
  • Individual scored assessments at the end of video training content to measure comprehension, and confirm that the material was understood (with a set passing score)
  • Email confirmation (with assessment score) that the training was completed as required for record keeping purposes
  • Optional ability to choose between multiple language versions of the same Portal content
